Hi.. Whats the advantagues of a Module.. and why do people use Module compared to just Include a File? Cheers

Afaik if you make it as a module then you won't have to use relative or absolute paths provided that they are placed properly in the mods folder. I have not tested this with Blitzmax yet, but in Monkey-X you can do module import on the same source path or your main file.

when u make something a module does it also means the the its functions become private ? therefore you can make new functions with similar names that will not contrudict the module similar named functions ?

just wondering. TY

I don't think this is related as you can apply it with or without turning your source into a module, see private command here..

For me, I can see modules as a quick and easy way to use, manage or distribute your code/library and make sure they work without worrying about file paths for other includes or sources (bmx, cpp, h, etc..)

Hope that makes sense.
