I still havnt solved my screen issues.. thats the main thing that stops me from professional programing and putting all my effort in it. anyway.. with my current screen its much better.. but far from perfect..
no need to respond me about how to put glasses, different lightings and so on, ive did it all..
I do wish an oled monitor will be available already in descent price.. maybe that will do..
screen do flicker , even with so called flicker free nonsense.. screens arnt natural healthy lights , thats why we have tears..
its as if the fkn industry wants us to remain sick..
i also heard is that the more you dim the lights the flickering gets worse since its a method of them to dim lights
the CRT monitors head the best pictures but they had another type of radiation so there was never a good solution..
only an E ink monitor would be as equale as paper.
BTW I still think general discussion should be on Top
That's good to know. Have you tried LCD monitors? they don't flicker and much better to look at overtime compared to CRTs. But then again it depends if you have no problems with CRTs and got something that is not bothering with your vision.
I sometimes strain my eyes even using LCDs due to long hours working on some stuff, but have decided to get up once in a while and clear my head up and do other things.
I do really want to program seriously all my life, but cant due to this problem.. Hope My next monitor which is HP 27ES will do the trick..
All my programming up till now are being affected by this glare thing coming out of the screen which is absolutly horrible and annoying. especially in window 10, they wont let you change the white color or the background of some stuff.
im quite convinced my flickerfree benq monitor is not flicker free at all, just slightly different
A friend of mine also has HP LED monitor and he's been using it for more than 4 years now. I forgot the exact model but googling at your model it looks similar to what he has.
I bought a 4k 58" hisense TV and its the best monitor ive ever had.. Great for the eyes! Even that its huge.
I do use dark colors just in case
