Hmmm cool
There was also better engine based on hardware physics
Physix or something

Well I finally made a bit of progress on this, new version here: https://github.com/markcwm/newton.mod

I've changed the modscope name from Hitoro.Newtonb3d to Newton.Openb3dmax so there's only one download now, and there's no dependencies other than needing Openb3dmax. Druggedbunny's demo is in an examples folder, there's not much to say other than Newton.Dynamics now builds on Linux, yay! I will be trying to add more examples to it soon.

This is awesome work Mark! and it would be even nicer if you can slip in a ragdoll demo..

i tried the hitoro mod for blitzmax 1.5 and it didnt compile on the module builder ..

BlitzCoder commented:

This module requires an older version of OpenB3DMax or you can try the latest OpenB3D and with Mark's port as he stated there last.

markcwm commented:

This uses the Newton module by Brucey which only works with NG.

Only physics for primitives is implemented, sometime soon I will try to add cylinders.

markcwm commented:

Cylinders were already implemented in Newton.Dynamics, so it was easy to add them to Newton.Openb3d!

So easy that I decided to add cones too. It works but they're very bouncy! Also, the cylinders in that commit were actually using Newton cube bodies, fixed now.
