MacOS trouble compiling for both High Sierra & Catalina
Hi, I seem to be able to compile my projects fine on Catalina(now 64 bit only) or High Sierra (32 & 64), but the resulting executable are not interchangable. Do I need to release to versions, or is there a way to compile one binary that supports both? Cheers!
Have you tried compiling only to 64bit on both? What errors are you getting?
Also try a simple console hello application and run it on both.
A recent recompile worked on both OS, I think it might have something to do with the HiDPI option in the build options, when this is switched off, it fixes odd X & Y offsets with the getgraphicswidth() etc.
Good to hear lavalamp. It seems Blitzmax still works as expected, perhaps you can check out Bruce's latest Max2D but not 100% sure if it will work on vanilla max.
