Thanks! yes that is self-shadowing and it's probably the texture size that makes it blurry.

..and seems to be the bias that makes it look weird on those boxes.

Hmm, so a low shadow bias value can cause self-shadow artifacts, and bias helps shadows look more grounded?

What about disabling self-shadowing?

Thanks Mark, yes it does look more than decent. Actually, the method here was taken from most old shadow code and it involves getting the uv data that the second camera (aka light camera) touches, so they are somehow processed together. Self shadowing is possible but I think it makes it more complex. I agree, something that involves smaller scenes where it fades or pops in near the player or camera. cheers.
