Though there are already some good ragdoll examples spread across these physics libraries, a definitive guide or template is always missing and that's why ragdoll physics games and demos in B3D is still a scarcity.

The definitive guide should be a step by step tutorial for a humanoid 3d model, free from any rotation or bone issues, to have ragdoll physics.

Blitz3D Userlibs with 3D ragdoll models demo either as default examples or user contributed.

This proposed bounty will hopefully solve this mystery once and for all.

I recall there being a ragdoll demo called 'DRUNK by Al Mackey' ... It should still be floating around somewhere.

BlitzCoder commented:

Thanks for the info MrmediamanX, but do you still have any copy or links to the sources? I did a search on the archives and found a few Al Mackey topics, but no topics related on any ragdoll stuff.

This should be a complete guide where you would use other 3d models and convert them to a working ragdoll in Blitz3D.

Hi Ron,

what do you mean by a definitive guide? Could we have a list of the existing ragdoll examples?

BlitzCoder commented:

Hey Mark, I have updated the post in regards to your questions.

As you can see that Newton is much closer in achieving this as per QuickSilver's provided example.
